Moon Castle

The knitwear factory producing MOONCASTLE was established in Osaka in 1966 and has been dedicated to producing high quality knitwear for various brands.   

In 2020, Ryoichi Tsukishiro, the third generation of the family, started the MOONCASTLE brand to develop the company's own offering, centered on quality of yarn, quality of make, and taking basics to a new level.   The brand name "MOONCASTLE" translates to "月城" (Tsukishiro) in Japanese, which is the name of the family.   

Selecting the finest raw materials from around the world, from Ice Cotton produced by a long-established Swiss spinning company to delicate Merino wool from Australia, is obviously critical.  By conducting all processes, including yarn selection, design, pattern, knitting, sewing, and finishing, at their own factory, the Tsukishiro family is able to fine-tune its products and maintain a consistent quality, all offered directly to us at a wonderful value.
